I really liked the video. You’re right about the price point, but the chick you interviewed didn’t probably know what Xbox 360 and PS3 offer more than Wii. They don’t do anything with blu-ray or good online services, they don’t care about fancy graphics. I’m living in Europe and the 360 is actually cheaper than the Wii! And stupid people still buy Wii…the 360 can offer so much more but I guess Wii is somehow cool.

PS3 sold terribly, that is why the price is dropping to $399 next month. 200 dollars in a year and a half, this early in its entry in the market is a sign that PS3 was doing terribly, and that a large market is going to by a console for much. the wii on the other hand was smart and undercut it, threw out attractive casual software in combination with its classic lineup. naturally it is going to outsell the other 2 by a ridiculous amount.

The PS3 is selling, and is only 5 million units behind the 360 in half the time on the market. In 2009, you’ll be hearing nothing but PS3 talk as the hype train for the 360 has all but died. Too Human just came out, was supposed to be a huge exclusive and sucks donkey nuts according to the reviews. The PS3 on the other hand has nothing but killer exclusives (that you can’t play on the PC) coming and an enhanced version of BioShock as well. This holidays will be all about the PS3, sorry 360 fans.
Here’s a tip from your Internet Buddy to all you 360 owners: Put that 360 up on Craigslist while it still works and get a PS3 now. Go get the 80 gig version. You’re welcome.

Yo put it like this we got three people who decide to come out with a sneaker, you got one that is like nike, one like addidas and one thats payless. Three differnt shoes but competing for the same foot. Same can be said for the consoles. three different consoles all competing for gamers purchase. I know you don’t want to admit it but the wii is competition whether you like it or not and regardless of what what if scenarios you put into play. If the wii keeps its momentum that it has now for another two Christmas’s Its going to take 360 and ps3 almost 3 to 5 years to catch up. still going to take at least two even by the time ps3 hits the wii’s price point. Which i don’t see happening for a while esp since sony has taken a loss of more then a billion dollars on this console as it is. I think people see the commercials for the wii and see that the wii is cheap, its new and it is allot safer for their kids to play and instead of an insane, complex shooter there are tons of casual games they can see themselves playing.
